It’s no secret that I hoard bracelets like a tweaked out 14-year old. My arms have, at times, been so encircled with jewelry they were more metal than flesh. As of late, it’s been a challenge to organize said bangles. They aren’t conducive to drawers, they get tangled on a tray, and I wasn’t thrilled by any of the Blood, Bath, and Beyond jewlery holders that looked like trees and took up too much counter space.
One day, while preparing a breakfast salad in my kitchen, I glanced up at the pegboard I installed to organize my kitchen tools and saw the solution. I immediately zipped to Homo Depot and purchased a few black plastic panels of pegboard. Drilled into the wall above my dresser, the board now holds my bracelets, rings, necklaces, and chokers in their proper place.
It’s worth noting that a similar organization concept sold at The Container Store will cost you at least $100. Hack the system, shop at hardware stores, save money.
Now my biggest challenge is picking a combination every morning.
