If I’m being honest, I always thought people who ordered everything bagels were lame. I mean, pick a flavor and go with it, ok? Personally, I have always been partial to the breath-terrorizing onion bagel, toasted to death, and spread liberally with cream cheese and lox.
But then I started seeing everything bagel seasoning everywhere and I thought, “well that’s ridiculous.” Because why buy a tiny jar of mixed seeds when you can buy them in bulk and mix them yourself?! So I did that. And then I realized what the everything bagel people have known all along: that mixture is freaking splendid.
And you know what it tastes great on? A bowl of roasted peanuts. Eat ‘em by the handful, they’re easy enough to make every week ;)

1 pound Roasted Unsalted Peanuts
3 teaspoons Dried Egg White
2 tablespoons Water
2 teaspoons Sea Salt
⅓ cup Poppy Seeds
⅓ cup Sesame Seeds
⅓ cup Dried Minced Onion
¼ cup Dried Minced Garlic

Toast all seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat (tossing/stirring often to avoid burning) until fragrant and browned.
Whisk egg white powder with water in large bowl. Add salt, whisk to combine.
Add peanuts and seeds to bowl, fold to combine.
Put coated peanuts in large roasting pan or sheet pan, roast for 30-40 minutes, till dry.
