Soy Glazed Cipollini Onions
Ingredients
1.5 lbs Cipollini onions
1 tbs Goose Fat, Duck Fat, Chicken Fat, or Olive Oil
3 tbs Soy Sauce
Directions
Heat oven to 325˚
Peel onions, slice top and bottom off then peel around.
Heat pan over flame, when hot add fat.
Add onions to pan, let sit on one side for 2 minutes, then flip with spoon (there should be some color on the bottom).
Turn off heat, add soy sauce to pan, toss onions to coat.
Put pan in the oven for 1 hour, tossing every 15 until tender and sweet, and soy has reduced into a syrup.
